## Summary

The Suffolk County Council is initiating a planned procurement process for "The Suffolk Adult Drug and Alcohol Inpatient Detoxification and Residential Rehabilitation Provision" under the health services sector. This procurement is aimed at enhancing services for residents in Suffolk as the current arrangements are set to end on 31st March 2022. The tender process will be formally advertised later in 2021 and includes a deadline for input from interested organisations to assist in shaping the service specification, with surveys due by 31st July 2021. The procurement is classified under the services category and has several planned lots focusing on various rehabilitation and detoxification needs, including medically managed detox and dual diagnosis rehabilitation.

This opportunity presents significant growth potential for businesses within the health services industry, particularly for those specialising in addiction treatment and rehabilitation care. The engagement process allows for businesses to influence the specification and align their offerings with the needs of the Suffolk County Council, making it a prime opportunity for innovative service providers to establish themselves in the local market.
