## Summary

The Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has completed a public procurement process for a National Framework Agreement titled "National Framework Agreement for Provision of Sterile Services and Endoscopy Decontamination Facility Solutions." This project falls under the works category, specifically the construction of special medical facilities, and is located in Chester, UK. The procurement method used was an open procedure, which allowed for broad participation, and key contracts were awarded in March 2021, with a total estimated budget of £375 million per contract.

This tender presents lucrative opportunities for businesses engaged in the construction and healthcare sectors, particularly those specialising in medical facility construction, equipment services, and facilities management. Companies with expertise in sterile services and endoscopy decontamination, along with those able to provide financing for facility development, should consider pursuing these contracts. With multiple active awards, there is significant potential for SMEs and larger firms alike to collaborate, delivering essential services to the NHS while fostering business growth.

## Notice

The framework agreement will allow NHS organisations to procure a Supplier who can design, build and equip a SSD and subsequently maintain the facility and its equipment under a managed service contract. Suppliers may provide finance to the NHS organisation for the design, build and equip of the SSD, as well as ongoing provision of appropriate facilities management.
