## Summary

The Department of Health and Social Care is initiating a procurement process for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) focused on Covid Tests Logistics Services to Pharmacies. This process is classified under the transport services industry, with a total estimated value of £3,328,000. The procurement is currently at the planning stage, with a market engagement webinar scheduled for 6 April 2021. Interested parties must register by 11:59 a.m. UK time on the same day to participate in this event, which aims to communicate the requirements and opportunities associated with the logistics services needed for the Test & Trace programme in England.

This tender presents significant opportunities for logistics and delivery companies, particularly those with experience in healthcare services, warehousing, and parcel delivery. Businesses that can offer flexible and scalable solutions for the storage and distribution of Lateral Flow Device kits across pharmacies in England will find this procurement attractive. The planned engagement activities provide a platform for potential suppliers to understand the expectations and requirements better, positioning themselves to compete effectively for future contracts under this DPS.

## Notice

The Test & Trace programme requires logistics capabilities to enable the storage and outbound distribution capabilities of Lateral Flow Devices (LFD) to support the Government's ambition to scale up and increase the volume of testing available across all pharmacies in England from April 2021. The programme anticipates that it will need to purchase logistics solutions which provide coverage across pharmacies within England and seeks establishment of a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) as the best means by which to meet its flexible requirements for these services. This PIN is to inform the market of the DPS planned launch and to invite the market to express interest for a market engagement event to understand the capacity and capability of the market for services that DHSC envisions may be required.
