## Summary

The Riverside Group Limited, a registered provider of social housing, is leading the "Architects Cutting Edge Framework" contract for architectural services aimed at residential-led development projects. This initiative is part of a consortium that includes seven other housing organisations. The procurement is structured as a selective process under the restricted procedure, with the framework agreement valued between £2.6 million to £3.2 million for the North West England lot and £875,000 to £1.3 million for the North East England and Yorkshire & Humber lot. The current procurement stage is active, and tender submissions are expected to have been completed by 7th May 2021 with invitations to the second stage, if applicable, planned for 25th May 2021.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in architectural services, particularly those capable of delivering substantial residential and mixed-use development projects. Companies with qualifications accredited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) and experience in acting as Lead Consultants will be well-positioned to compete. The framework aims to establish a collaborative environment among participating social housing providers, allowing successful bidders to potentially secure a place in a four-year agreement, thereby enhancing their capacity to undertake significant architectural contracts across various regions.
