## Summary

The University of Wolverhampton Enterprise Limited is conducting a procurement process titled "21-13 Student Support Services", specifically aimed at providing support services for students eligible for the Disabled Students Allowance and other funding sources. This procurement is classified under the "services" industry category and follows an open procedure. The tender was originally active until the deadline for submissions on 24 May 2021, and the subsequent award period began on 25 May 2021. This process seeks to establish agreements with suitable contractors to deliver tailored support for students, which includes a variety of specialised services.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in providing educational support services, particularly those with experience in catering to individuals with disabilities. Companies that can offer British Sign Language interpreters, study support assistants, or specialists in mental health and learning difficulties would be particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. By engaging with this framework, businesses can expand their reach and enhance their service offerings to contribute positively to students' educational experiences at the University of Wolverhampton.

## Notice

University is looking to establish agreements with suitable Contractor(s) who can provide Student Support Services to our students eligible for support via Disabled Students Allowance, ESFA funding, other funding bodies, or for support funded by the University of Wolverhampton. Students awarded DSA will possess a needs assessment that details what support, adjustments and equipment a student requires based on the assessor's determination of how their disability affects their individual ability to study and could place them at a disadvantage. Similarly the University may undertake an assessment of the support needs of a student not eligible for DSA and provide support funded by the University or other funding bodies the University is eligible to claim for. This is a Managed Service for use when the University does not have capacity within its Non-Medical Helper (NMH) team.
