## Summary

The King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust has successfully completed the procurement process for the Purchase of Endoscopic Equipment. The Trust, based in London, procured various endoscopy devices through a direct award to Pentax UK Ltd via the NHSSC Framework. The procurement method used was an open procedure, and the contract was signed on 28th March 2024. This presents an opportunity for suppliers in the healthcare industry interested in providing endoscopy products to public healthcare institutions.

The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board has completed the procurement process for the Upgrade of 2 MR Mobiles. The Board sought to remain clinically competitive by upgrading existing MR Mobiles and directly awarded the contract to GE Medical Systems Ltd via the NHSSC framework. This limited procurement was justified by the absence of competition due to technical reasons. The contract, amounting to GBP 214,228, was signed on 21st December 2023. Businesses specialising in radiography devices and medical equipment upgrades could explore similar opportunities in the healthcare sector.
