## Summary

The NHS South West London Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking to procure Community Musculoskeletal (MSK) Services across Merton Borough through a limited procurement method without prior publication of a call for competition. This service contract, valued at approximately £2 million for a potential 24-month duration, aims to commence on 1st April 2021 and may be extended for an additional year until 31st March 2023. The entire procurement process has been completed, involving health services that address musculoskeletal and joint needs for individuals registered with local GP practices in the London Borough of Merton.

This contract presents a significant opportunity for healthcare service providers specialising in musculoskeletal treatments, rehabilitation, and related services. Businesses that offer comprehensive diagnostic and therapeutic solutions, including physiotherapy, pain management, and lifestyle advice, will be well-suited to participate in future tenders of similar nature. This is especially relevant for companies looking to establish or expand their footprint in the health sector, specifically those focusing on holistic care and patient management to enhance community health outcomes.

## Notice

The aim of the service is to meet the musculoskeletal and joint needs of people and support them to self- manage their condition. The service should be holistic in its provision and work to improve the person's psychological well-being, social functioning and participation in everyday activities and to reduce the likelihood of negative outcomes associated with pain and impaired function arising, such as depression, social isolation and loss of employment.
