## Notice

Islington Council invites suitable expressions of interest from suppliers for 2021-0158 Mental Health Accommodation Pathway Services, to provide specialist mental health residential care and supported living services for adults with mental health needs. Mental health accommodation services house and support adults with severe and enduring mental ill health who are unable to live in their own home due to lack of skills or inability to live independently. Those entering the services tend to originate from inpatient mental health wards, mental health rehabilitation wards, community rehabilitation units, are in mental health placements outside of the borough, or are experiencing tenancy breakdown in the community. We are procuring new specialist mental health accommodation services to meet current and future needs locally. The overarching aim of the mental health accommodation procurement is to ensure that the provision of mental health accommodation services proactively work to ensure residents are equipped with the skills and capacity to live happier, healthier and more independent lives closer to home. A recent review of Islington's mental health accommodation pathway has shown that services are incorporating a focus on the whole person and a strengths-based philosophy into the provision of care and support.
