## Summary

The B2G Minor Works framework, managed by Gold Hill Housing Association, is an open procurement process established for various contracting authorities across England to address minor works related to the maintenance and improvement of both housing and non-housing properties. This construction framework, classified under construction work (CPV code 45000000), will operate for a term of four years and encompasses multiple regional lots, each designed to facilitate single and multi-site projects. The purchasing opportunity is aimed at principal contractors with a focus on small to medium enterprises (SMEs) primarily operating within the English regions. Key dates include the signing of contracts on 3 March 2021 and the framework's official launch as of April 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for SMEs specialising in construction and building maintenance, particularly those with experience in delivering projects that involve thermal upgrades, roofing, kitchen and bathroom replacements, and complex multi-site project management. Businesses that demonstrate the capacity to effectively manage diverse asset types—from residential and educational to commercial properties—are well-suited to compete. The dual framework structure will allow SMEs to engage without competing directly against larger contractors, thereby fostering growth and ensuring the sustainability of smaller suppliers in the public sector market.

## Notice

B2G is managing the framework on behalf of GHHA, and all communication regarding the framework should be directed to B2G. This is a national framework agreement for use by contracting authorities across England to call off both single and multi-site minor works projects in relation to the planned and reactive repair, maintenance and improvement of both housing and non-housing property. This framework, MW21, is suited to principal contractors of SME scale and/or regional focus. It runs in parallel with MW20 which is suited to principal contractors operating on a national scale. In creating two separate frameworks B2G is supporting government guidelines by avoiding pitching suppliers of unequal scale and resource against one another. This framework will have a 4 year term.

### Lot Information

NE - NORTH EAST

The framework will suit contracting authorities who appreciate the continuity of a working relationship with a principal contractor to manage projects irrespective of scale, complexity or geographic spread, and we anticipate the framework being used by buyers for a wide range and type of call off project, from single site to multi-site, and both one-off and term-based contracts. Consequently the appointed suppliers are experienced principal contractors with: - proven capability of managing and delivering all forms of building upgrade and associated works and services including thermal upgrades, roofing upgrades, kitchen and bathroom replacements, window and door replacements, disability adaptations and cyclical decoration and repairs, - proven capability and capacity to coordinate and deliver complex, concurrent, multi-site, geographically-spread projects. - proven capability of managing projects on both housing and non-housing asset types which may include residential, flats, sheltered and shared accommodation, administrative, educational, health, storage, technical, industrial, agricultural, commercial, retail, leisure and communal property owned or managed by the contracting authority.
