## Summary

Nottingham City Council is actively conducting a tender for a Personal Protective Equipment Supply Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) categorized under goods, specifically within the clothing and accessories industry. The procurement process, which follows a restricted procedure, is set to end on 28 May 2021. This initiative aims to appoint various suppliers for PPE supply and delivery standards that comply with UK, EU, and international regulations, allowing multiple public sector partners, including numerous councils and educational institutions in Nottingham and nearby regions, to access the framework. The total estimated contract value is £100 million.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specializing in personal protective equipment and related goods to engage with a diverse range of public sector clients. Suppliers with the capabilities to provide products spanning from gloves and masks to sanitation equipment would be ideally suited to compete for this contract. The DPS structure encourages participation from both large suppliers and SMEs, enabling them to apply for one or multiple product lots based on their strengths, which can lead to further business growth through sustained collaboration with a large network of public entities.
