## Summary

The Department of Health and Social Care is currently conducting a tender for a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) focused on logistics services for Covid tests to pharmacies, with an estimated contract value of £3,328,000. This procurement falls within the transport services industry and is active as of 21 April 2021. The DPS aims to facilitate the storage and distribution of test kits across pharmacies in England and is open for applications throughout its term, with the initial period set for 12 months, extendable twice for an additional 12 months each. The deadline for bid submissions is 20 April 2022.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses in logistics, particularly those with capabilities in parcel delivery and warehouse management. Companies that specialise in temperature-sensitive logistics, warehousing services, and pharmacy delivery solutions are well-suited to compete. Participation in this dynamic purchasing system could lead to sustained partnerships with the government as it scales up testing services across England, aligning with the growing demand for efficient healthcare logistics amid ongoing public health efforts.
