## Summary

Network Rail Infrastructure Ltd is conducting a procurement process for the "Procurement of Cable" in the goods sector, specifically under the classification of cable (CPV code 44321000). The buying organisation is based in London, UK, and has issued two lots: one for cable quantities less than or equal to 2,000 metres and another for quantities exceeding this length. The procurement method is a selective negotiated procedure with a prior call for competition. Key contract dates include the signing of contracts on 7th April 2021, with the overall process marked as complete as of 23rd April 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in cable supply and related services, particularly those with capabilities in managing inventory, purchase orders, and technical support. Companies involved in telecommunications, power distribution, and signalling systems would be well-suited to compete, especially large-scale firms capable of efficient supply chain management and delivering competitive pricing. Successful bidders will also be expected to demonstrate strong methodologies for delivery and value for money, making this an attractive opportunity for capable suppliers in the UK market.
