## Summary

The Crown Office and Procurator Fiscal Service (COPFS) has awarded a contract for Oracle Database Administration Services. The procurement, initiated as a tender, falls within the services category with a focus on system and support services. Located in Glasgow, Scotland, this procurement process was concluded on 15 May 2021, with a total contract value of £189,750. This was a limited procurement method, specifically an award procedure without prior publication of a call for competition, due to the absence of competition for technical reasons as regulated under Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.

This contract presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in database administration and technical support services, particularly those with expertise in Oracle Database systems. Companies with a strong understanding of complex database environments and experience in knowledge transfer and team transition would be particularly well-suited to engage with COPFS. The need for a reliable service provider capable of managing critical database infrastructure during staff transitions creates a unique opportunity for qualified and experienced suppliers to establish long-term relationships with a key public sector entity.
