## Summary

The Crown Commercial Service, as the buying organisation, is conducting a tender process for the "G-Cloud 12" framework agreement, primarily focused on the software package and information systems industry, aimed at UK public sector bodies. The procurement stage is currently in the tender phase, and potential bidders should note that this framework will facilitate contracts lasting up to 24 months, with two additional 12-month extensions. The timeframe for future iterations of this framework is anticipated to be on a yearly basis, reflecting market demand and service availability.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in cloud computing, software development, and IT services, particularly those looking to engage with public sector contracts. Companies that can provide innovative and scalable solutions in software and information systems would be well-positioned to compete. The establishment of an unlimited number of participants in the framework fosters a competitive environment, wherein various suppliers can submit tenders to provide critical services to the public sector, potentially leading to sustained business growth and expansion into new client markets.

## Notice

Crown Commercial Service as the Contracting Authority is putting in place a Framework Agreement for use by UK public sector bodies identified at VI.3 (and any future successors to these organisations), which include Central Government Departments and their Arm's Length Bodies and Agencies, Non Departmental Public Bodies, NHS bodies, Local Authorities and Universities. The maximum initial duration of any Call-Off Contract that may be placed by an eligible Contracting Authorities is 24 months with two extensions allowed, each of up to 12 months. G-Cloud services, available via the Digital Marketplace, will require frequent procurement refreshes to bring on new suppliers and services. New iterations of this Framework are being considered at a frequency of 12 months depending on demand and/or availability of new services as the IT Cloud market develops.
