## Summary

The British Deputy High Commission in Lagos, Nigeria is currently inviting tenders for a significant construction project titled "British Deputy High Commission Lagos, Nigeria Main Works." This falls under the building construction industry category, specifically focused on refurbishment and remodelling activities at the High Commission compound. The procurement process is at the tender stage, with a deadline for submission set for 18th June 2021. The total value of the project is estimated at £10 million, and contractors are expected to adhere to UK Building Regulations despite the location in Nigeria. This tender employs a restricted procedure, requiring companies to register on the eSourcing portal to express interest and respond to the pre-qualification questionnaire.

This tender presents valuable opportunities for construction firms seeking to expand their operations into international projects, particularly those that have experience in compliance with UK standards in foreign markets. Companies specialised in building renovation, infrastructure development, and project management will be well placed to submit competitive bids. The scope of work includes extensive refurbishment, site management, and the necessary logistical coordination of a complex construction environment. As the project entails both physical building work and adherence to health and safety standards, businesses with expertise in these areas are encouraged to participate and leverage this opportunity for growth.
