## Summary

The Ministry of Defence, through its Battlefield Tactical Communications Systems unit, is conducting a selective tender for the TRINITY Design and System Integration Delivery (DSID) project. This procurement aims to appoint a partner for a maximum of nine years to develop a deployable Wide Area Network (WAN) tailored for military vehicle variants. The contract, valued at approximately £330 million, extends over 3,240 days, with a tender period ending on 11th June 2021. The process is particularly focused on suppliers with List X or Provisional List X status, which is required for security clearance purposes by the deadline of 16th August 2021. The contract may also involve the management of design changes and the provision of an ongoing service to adapt the solution as new technologies emerge.

This tender presents substantial opportunities for businesses involved in IT services, particularly those specializing in consulting, software development, and system integration within the defence sector. Companies with experience in designing and implementing complex IT systems for military applications would be well suited to compete. The winning contractor will not only develop the WAN but may also have the chance to provide some components directly or manage their procurement through a subsequent process. As such, suppliers that can demonstrate robust technical capabilities and compliance with security requirements are encouraged to participate in this competitive tender process.
