## Summary

The Barnet, Enfield and Haringey Mental Health Trust (BEHMHT) is seeking to procure Integrated Voluntary and Community Sector (VCS) Services to support its new community mental health model, set to launch in the boroughs of Barnet, Enfield, and Haringey in the first quarter of 2021/22. This procurement is currently in the award stage, with the process following an open procurement method. The contracts, which will last for two years with the option of a one-year extension, cover three distinct lots aimed at providing targeted support for adults with moderate to severe mental illness. Key details include contract values amounting to approximately £3.5 million, with the primary objective of enhancing mental health support within the boroughs. The deadline for submissions was initially set for June 14, 2021, and the awarded contracts were signed on July 29, 2021, suggesting an active and competitive tendering process.

This procurement presents significant opportunities for businesses that specialise in mental health services, community support, and social care. Companies capable of delivering innovative, flexible, and integrated solutions aligned with BEHMHT’s strategic vision will be particularly well-suited to compete. Businesses offering community health services, especially those experienced in working collaboratively with healthcare providers and local services to enhance mental well-being, will find a conducive environment for growth through this contract. Successful suppliers may also expect to build sustainable partnerships with BEHMHT, which values continuous improvement and a strength-based approach that engages residents and promotes their independence and well-being.
