## Summary

The procurement process is being conducted by Bedford Borough Council for the project titled "Semi-independent Accommodation and Support for Looked After Young People, Care Leavers and Unaccompanied Asylum-Seeking Children - Round 2." This contract falls under the industry category of social work services with accommodation and is located in Bedford, UK. Currently, the procurement is at the Award stage, where several framework agreements have been concluded following a tender process initiated on 20 January 2020. Contracts worth £1,000,000 each for three lots were signed on 24 January 2022, marking the completion of this phase.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses focused on social work services, particularly those specialising in accommodation solutions for vulnerable young people. Companies that offer supported accommodation, floating support services, or emergency short-term accommodation would be well-suited to compete in this framework. The involvement in such contracts not only supports community welfare but also allows businesses to expand their portfolio within a critically needed sector, fostering social responsibility while generating income.
