## Summary

Bristol City Council has initiated a public procurement process with the title "Non-Domestic Energy Efficiency Framework for Bristol City Council Energy Service 2020", aimed at delivering energy efficiency services across Bristol and surrounding regions, including the south and south west of England, as well as south Wales. The procurement method employed is a selective procedure, with a total estimated budget of £16.5 million for a four-year framework. This process is currently complete, with key focus areas on LED lighting, insulation, building management systems, and energy services efficiency improvements. The contracts were awarded on 17th May 2021, with contract values ranging from £1,000 to £7,500,000 depending on the specific energy efficiency service provided.

This procurement process presents significant opportunities for small to medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as well as larger service providers in the energy and construction sectors. Businesses that offer services related to energy efficiency, such as electrical installation, building management systems, insulation work, and energy consultancy will find this framework particularly relevant. The framework not only encourages competition among suppliers but also aims to enhance energy sustainability in public buildings, thereby driving demand for innovative solutions and strategies that can contribute to overall business growth in the sector.

The framework value is estimated to be GBP 16 500 000 over the lifetime of the 4-year framework.
