## Summary

The Ministry of Defence in the UK has completed a procurement process for "Electronic Light Table (ELT)" software, specifically for the supply of SOCET GXP software licences necessary for Imagery Intelligence (IMINT) training. The contract, valued at £2.249 million, was awarded on 17th May 2021, following a limited procurement method due to the technical specificities of the software, which is exclusively produced by BAE Systems. The procurement falls under the goods category, specifically relating to licence management software packages, and the delivery will take place in the UKK11 region of Bristol.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses involved in software licensing, particularly those that can provide advanced imaging or geographic intelligence solutions. Companies that specialise in or have experience with training tools for defence applications may find themselves well-positioned to compete in similar future procurement processes. Additionally, firms with a focus on developing unique software applications that meet strict military specifications could also benefit from understanding the specific needs of the Ministry of Defence and their procurement practices.
