## Summary

The procurement process for the "Staffordshire Community Dermatology Assessment and Treatment Service" was initiated by the NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU on behalf of various Clinical Commissioning Groups (CCGs) in Staffordshire. This tender falls under health services and was conducted in the Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent region. The procurement method chosen was an open procedure. The contract, valued at approximately £12,522,934, has been awarded and is set for a period of 3 years, with an option for 2 additional years. The award was made on 3rd May 2021, and the overall process focused on providing a multi-disciplinary service aimed at enhancing patient care and efficiency by avoiding unnecessary referrals to secondary care.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses within the health services sector, particularly those that provide dermatology services, clinical triage, and diagnostic treatments. Companies that can demonstrate capabilities in delivering integrated healthcare services, quality governance, and strong workforce management would be well-suited to participate in such tenders. The successful provider, Health Harmonie Limited, exemplifies the scale of service required, and firms looking to compete should focus on building a robust service delivery model that meets the specific needs outlined in the procurement documentation.
