### Procurement Information

Clarion Housing Group Limited has awarded its contract for the supply, install, maintenance and associated services for emergency call telecare equipment to Everon UK Limited as it believes Regulation 32(b)(ii) applies: (b) where the works, supplies or services can be supplied only by a particular economic operator for any of the following reasons:-- (ii) competition is absent for technical reasons. The Regulation applies as no other telecare solution can provide Clarion's requirements in full: 1. Digital solution requiring no modification when BT OpenReach replace/switch off the analogue PSTN. 2. Entirely wireless operation through mobile telephone networks. 3. Integrates with door entry systems. 4. The ability to configure a number of telecare units and peripherals as a scheme that can be managed and monitored using a cloud based application. 5. Does not require central control equipment, DECT infrastructure or similar.
