## Summary

The Industrial Buildings Framework Contract initiated by Associated British Ports (ABP) aims to establish a variety of Delivery Partners for industrial building construction across the UK over the next five years. The procurement process is currently in the Award stage, with contracts valued at £126 million for Humberside, £111.5 million for South and East England, £28.75 million for Scotland, £35.6 million for North West England, and £112 million for South Wales. The tender covers various regions including Humberside, South and East England, Scotland, North West England, and South Wales, focusing on construction work for commercial and industrial buildings as per the CPV classification 45213000. The framework follows a selective procurement method, negotiated with a prior call for competition, with the submission period having ended on June 23, 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses involved in the construction sector, particularly those specialising in industrial and commercial building projects. Companies with capabilities in Design and Build or Construct Only contract arrangements will find this framework relevant. With an emphasis on collaboration with multiple regional partners, businesses based in or willing to operate in the designated regions would be well-positioned to participate. The framework allows up to 15 participants, fostering a competitive environment while facilitating access to a pipeline of projects, thus supporting growth and diversification in industrial construction services.
