The Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) is conducting a procurement process titled "Cyber Skills and Careers Inspiration Programme for Young People" within the education and training services sector. This contract, valued at approximately £3 million, aims to engage secondary school students aged 11-14 in cyber security. The open procurement method signifies that all interested parties can submit tenders. Key dates include the deadline for tender submissions on 29 June 2021, and the contract period is anticipated to commence on 31 August 2021, lasting until 31 March 2022, with potential renewal options available.

This tender offers significant opportunities for businesses involved in educational services, digital content creation, and communication campaigns. Companies that specialise in developing digital learning solutions or have experience in engaging underrepresented groups within educational settings are particularly well-suited to compete for this contract. With a focus on enhancing young people's interest in cyber careers, this initiative not only supports the local economy by training the next generation but also presents a chance for businesses to contribute to critical skills development in the UK’s cyber security landscape.
