## Summary

The South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust awarded a contract for professional services related to the refurbishment of their Headquarters at Nexus House, Crawley. The refurbishment project, categorized under construction consultancy services, aimed to support the incumbent programme manager throughout the lifecycle of the refurbishment. The contract was awarded to Ridge and Partners LLP through a selective, restricted procedure. The procurement process commenced on 16th October 2024, with completion and handover expected within a rigorous timeline. The procurement focused on a range of services, including architectural, building engineering, and contract administration, under the CPV code 71530000. This project is a part of ongoing headquarters improvements located in Sussex, specifically addressing the refurbishment needs at Nexus House, Crawley.

The awarded contract presents substantial opportunities for businesses specializing in construction consultancy, particularly those with expertise in design, quantity surveying, and contract administration. Ridge and Partners LLP, a large-scale supplier, demonstrated the technical ability and commercial competitiveness required for such projects. Firms with similar capabilities in professional construction services and a proven track record in handling complex refurbishment assignments would find such opportunities beneficial for their portfolio and business growth. Engaging in these frameworks can help companies establish or strengthen their presence in the public infrastructure refurbishment sector, particularly within the NHS and public health organizations.
