## Summary

The procurement process, initiated by H M Revenue & Customs (HMRC), seeks a Portfolio, Programme, and Project Management (PPM) solution with an estimated contract value of £9 million. The tender, classified under CPV code 72212330 for scheduling and productivity software development services, is currently at the active stage with a submission deadline of 13 December 2021. This procurement strategy is designed to provide an IT solution to enhance project management capabilities across HMRC's extensive portfolio, which spans over £4 billion.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in IT solutions and professional services related to project and portfolio management. Companies that offer vendor-agnostic software solutions and robust implementation services will be particularly well-suited to compete. The expected deliverables include a comprehensive SaaS tool and related training and maintenance services, inviting organisations equipped with innovative approaches to project tooling and management to participate in this substantial government initiative.

## Notice

In line with HMRCs 10 year tax strategy, the Department has a core directive to improve the way in which it delivers effective portfolio and project management across its Transformation Group. This is a highly complex environment and encompasses a multiyear portfolio in excess of PS4 billion. As an enabler to this strategy, an appropriate IT solution in the form of a portfolio and project management tooling solution, is required in order to support the delivery of these objectives. Therefore, through this procurement exercise the Department is looking for suppliers who are able to provide: * A portfolio and project management tooling solution * Professional services to aid the implementation, integration, development, maintenance and training of the chosen solution
