### Procurement Information

In October 2020, EA established a below threshold, directly awarded contract with C&F Quadrant (NI) Ltd for the value of PS100,000 for Service/Supply of Gas Controls, Pumps, Gas Boiler Systems and Parts. The contract commenced on 27 Oct 20 until 31 March 21. The direct award contract, was required to ensure urgent reactive mechanical maintenance cover to schools in the Belfast region as the incumbent contractor declined to extend their contract to allow for the new procurement competition to be completed. It has now become necessary to seek a further directly awarded contract with C&F Quadrant (NI), due to ongoing litigation for the replacement contract. EA issue this notice under the basis of PCR 2015 (32) (2) (c) Extreme urgency brought about by events unforeseeable by the contracting authority. EA will apply a 10 day standstill period before awarding the contract C&F Quadrant (NI) Ltd in June 2021 until 30 September 2021.
