## Summary

The NHS Cheshire Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) is initiating a procurement process to commission a new model of domiciliary end of life care. The project aims to enhance care delivery in Cheshire, and the contract is valued at £2,624,060 for the first year, with an end date of 30th September 2023. Currently, the process is in the planning stage, as indicated by the issued Prior Information Notice (PIN) which outlines that the successful provider will take contractual responsibility for delivering integrated end-of-life services. The procurement is classified under health and social work services, and is focused on creating a more effective support system for patients and their families during the final stages of life.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses specialising in health care services, particularly those with expertise in palliative care and community health support. Companies that can offer integrated service models, effective communication strategies, and skilled workforce training in end-of-life care will be well-suited to compete. Additionally, organisations that can demonstrate the ability to enhance care coordination and develop innovative approaches to domiciliary support may find fruitful prospects through this procurement process, which aims to address gaps and improve the quality of care for patients throughout Cheshire.
