## Summary

The University College London Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (UCLH) is planning to initiate a tender for the provision of Strontium-82/Rubidium-82 generators and associated delivery systems to support its cardiac PET service. This procurement, classified under the goods category in the healthcare industry, is expected to cater to a workload of approximately 1,650 patients annually, with an anticipated 5% increase in demand over the next three years. The estimated total contract value ranges from £1.2 million to £1.5 million over a potential three-year lifecycle, with a market engagement meeting scheduled for 30 June 2021. Interested suppliers must express their interest by 25 June 2021 to attend this virtual event, where they will receive insights into the requirements and procurement processes.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses engaged in the supply of medical equipment and consumables, particularly those focusing on nuclear medicine technologies. Companies specialising in the manufacturing and distribution of medical imaging devices and associated materials would find this tender particularly relevant. By participating in this process, businesses can not only contribute to enhancing healthcare services at UCLH but also foster long-term partnerships within the NHS framework, thus supporting their growth in the health sector.
