The procurement process is currently in the planning stage, with an Industry Day scheduled for 29th June 2021 to discuss further details. Interested suppliers must express their interest by emailing PavementMaterialsFramework@highwaysengland.co.uk by 22nd June 2021. The estimated value of this project is £1.3 billion, covering various lots across multiple regions, including North, Central, South, and Midlands. Contractors with experience in managing large-scale projects and offering plant and labour resources will be particularly well-suited to compete for these contracts, which may also involve emergency responses and additional welfare provisions on-site. ## Notice Highways England are proposing to put in place a new category management Pavement Delivery Framework that will provide supply and services for our Operations Directorate of Materials, Plant and Labour to carry out surfacing and pavement construction operations including: bituminous and concrete repairs, surface restoration techniques, planing, paving, iron work adjustment and renewal, Cold Applied Ultra-Thin Surfacing (CAUTS), hydraulically bound mixtures, in-situ and ex-situ recycling, footway surfacing and asphalt kerbing, temporary work, provision of welfare facilities, undertake Principal Contractor duties. The scope may also include emergency response. ### Lot Information Lot 1 - North Super Region The supply of materials, plant and labour to carry out surfacing and pavement construction operations in HE Areas 10, 12, 13 and 14, including: bituminous and concrete repairs, surface restoration techniques, planing, paving, iron work adjustment and renewal, Cold Applied Ultra-Thin Surfacing (CAUTS), hydraulically bound mixtures, in-situ and ex-situ recycling, footway surfacing and asphalt kerbing, temporary works, provision of welfare facilities, undertake Principal Contractor duties.
