## Summary

The Scottish Enterprise has concluded a procurement process for a framework titled "Grant Administration Services Framework," which falls under the business and management consultancy services category. This procurement was targeted at various commissioning agencies, including the Scottish Government and Highlands and Islands Enterprise, primarily located in Glasgow, United Kingdom. The process was conducted as an open tender, enabling a wider range of suppliers to participate. The contract value is estimated at £25 million, with the finalisation date indicated as 29 October 2021. The framework has been designed to provide critical support for grant application administration, appraisal, and payment administration, especially aimed at addressing increased demand arising from the unprecedented global circumstances of 2020.

This tender presents significant opportunities for growth for businesses involved in consultancy services, particularly those with expertise in grant administration and management. Companies that can provide streamlined processes for high-volume grant schemes and demonstrate capacity to manage operational peaks will be well-suited to compete for this contract. Additionally, both large firms and small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) are encouraged to participate, with the latter group having previously shown representation in the bidding process. Suppliers are advised to ensure they meet the selection criteria, which includes being registered with the Financial Conduct Authority, to enhance their chances of winning this lucrative framework contract.
