### Lot Information

Lot 1

The objectives of the Home Hazard Assessment/Home Security service are as follows: - identify vulnerable households using relevant stakeholders/referral partners; - reduce the risk of accidents in the home by making it a safer environment; - empower people to change their behaviours; - develop understanding about risk of accidents in the home by raising awareness and providing educational resources; - promote effective training, skills and knowledge in home accident prevention across all relevant stakeholders and groups; - improve the evidence base regarding home accidents by collecting relevant data. - reduce the risk of crime and the fear of crime perpetrated against vulnerable members of our community; and - help minimise the likelihood of repeat victims. The Contractor will be expected to complete approximately 450 home hazard assessments per year for people aged 65 and over (or vulnerable adults) living in the Belfast City Council Area and Belfast Health and Social Care Trust area.

Options: The contract value in this notice includes for potential additional use in the event of additional funding becoming available and dependent on the success of the project/ initiative. Spend could range between PS400,000 and PS750,000 over the full 5 year contract period.

Renewal: Initial contract period one year from the date of award with the option of renewal on an annual basis for a further four years, subject to funding and satisfactory performance of the Contractor.
