This contract is located in West Yorkshire and has reached the Award stage, with the contract awarded for a duration of four years, including an option to extend for an additional twelve months. The value of the contract is estimated at £675,000, and it addresses the ongoing operational requirements of West Yorkshire Police for temporary remote-signalling alarms and their associated monitoring. This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses engaged in security services, particularly those specialising in alarm systems and monitoring services. Companies that offer comprehensive solutions encompassing the supply, installation, maintenance, and monitoring of alarm systems would be well-suited to compete. The open procedure procurement method encourages diverse participation, and businesses that can demonstrate quality service delivery, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness will be well-positioned to secure a contract, considering that the successful supplier must cater to a substantial volume of installations and urgent response requirements in the policing sector.
