### Lot Information

Lot 1

The University of Bristol's Bristol Digital Futures Institute (BDFI) is creating the Reality Emulator (RE): a unique coordinated physical and virtual environment providing the capability to study complex technical and sociotechnical systems at different scales, in different contexts, and at different stages. A key requirement of the RE is the use of diverse datasets generated in real-time, over time, historically and at scale, that can be emulated, integrated and synthetically scaled to provide conditions for prospective research on digital innovation and intervention. The core functions connected with the RE are thus: - Data collection, transfer/integration, processing, and storage - Virtual Production Digital Model development/training and execution - Interactive and immersive representation of model outputs and other data. The Reality Emulator will provided by 2 supply partners - the Integrator and the Immersive. This exercise is seeking to procure the Integrator supplier who will deliver the following platforms as part of their system: - Management, Monitoring and Integration - High Performance Network - Software Defined Data Centre - Data Services The Immersive supplier will provide the immersive platform which will be procured at a later date via a separate competition. This is a highly complex, unique and cutting edge opportunity; full details are available within the University's procurement portal.
