## Summary

The Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) has completed a procurement process for the provision of American Express (AMEX) Services, specifically in the banking and investment services industry. This contract, valued at £3.4 million, was initiated on 9th June 2021 with a duration of five years. The procurement method employed was a limited tendering process, awarded without prior publication due to the specific technical requirements that only AMEX could fulfil, established after conducting market research.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses, particularly those that specialise in payment processing and card transaction services, to expand their presence in the public sector. Companies well-suited to compete in similar procurement processes should have experience in managing secure payment systems, particularly with AMEX, as well as the ability to implement robust payment solutions that cater to both online and contact centre transactions. This could lead to fruitful partnerships and long-term contracts within government agencies and other public entities.

## Notice
