## Summary

The Ministry of Defence has recently initiated a revised procurement process for the Armed Forces Recruiting Programme (AFRP) located in the UK, which primarily falls under the recruitment services industry category. The procurement method is a selective approach using competitive dialogue, aimed at achieving enhanced operational capacity by enlisting approximately 18,000 to 22,000 new recruits annually. This contract process has been cancelled and will be reissued with a new Prior Information Notice, with further details to be provided via the Defence Sourcing Portal. Interested suppliers should ensure they're registered on the AFRP AWARD portal to access complete information.

This procurement process presents significant opportunities for recruitment agencies and service providers specializing in personnel placement, marketing services, psychological assessments, and military recruitment solutions. Businesses with expertise in delivering comprehensive recruitment processes, including health and safety consultancy, administrative services, and public relations, would be particularly suited to compete. With the focus on creating a streamlined candidate experience in a highly strategic defence environment, there is a notable scope for innovative solutions that cater to the evolving needs of the Armed Forces.
