## Summary

Leeds City Council (PACS) is overseeing the YORbuild3 Medium Works Contractors Framework Agreement for the West Area, which focuses on construction work within the Yorkshire and Humber region, Sheffield Local Enterprise Partnership, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and parts of Leicestershire. The procurement process is currently in the Award stage, having concluded bids from suppliers on 17th September 2021. The framework is intended to support significant construction projects including general building works and new housing, with an overall budget of £400 million. The contracts involve two main lots: one for building works valued between £4 million and £10 million, and another for new housing developments of over 25 units.

This framework represents a considerable opportunity for construction firms, particularly those with expertise in large-scale building projects and the ability to collaborate within a structured partnership model. Suitable competitors may include large construction companies, regional contractors, and SMEs that can demonstrate their capacity for innovative project delivery and commitment to social and environmental considerations. The framework’s collaborative approach aims to encourage sustainable practices and economic regeneration, making it a prime opportunity for companies committed to construction excellence over an extended period.
