## Summary

The Devon and Somerset Fire and Rescue Authority is initiating a tender process for a framework agreement to supply Emergency Response Vehicles, including Pumping Appliances, Aerials, and Special Vehicles. This procurement, classified under firefighting vehicles, aims to replace the existing framework agreement. The project is currently in the planning stage, with a Contract Notice expected to be published in November 2021 and the framework set to go live on 28th March 2022. Interested suppliers are encouraged to engage through the specified e-tendering portal to receive updates and provide feedback.

This tender presents a significant opportunity for businesses in the automotive manufacturing and emergency services sectors to expand their market reach. Companies specialising in the production of firefighting and specialist vehicles, as well as those offering vehicle conversion and reconditioning services, are particularly suited to compete. By participating in this engagement, suppliers can position themselves to secure contracts that cater to the needs of the UK's Fire and Rescue Services, thus contributing to public safety and infrastructure development.
