## Summary

The procurement process involves the Department of Education NI, seeking participation in the Market Engagement Exercise for the Strule Shared Educational Campus Main Works. This tender, classified under 'Building construction work', is positioned in the works category and aims to gather insight from main contractors regarding the delivery of five post-primary school buildings and associated facilities. The key dates include the tender period ending on 18 August 2021 and various information meetings scheduled to facilitate dialogue between the contracting authority and prospective bidders. The procurement method is an open procedure, ensuring a wide range of participants can engage in this early market consultation.

This tender represents a significant opportunity for construction firms, particularly those specialising in educational facilities and large-scale building projects. Businesses that are well-suited to compete are those with expertise in delivering substantial construction projects, including infrastructure, landscaping, and environmental protection works. By taking part in the information meetings and responding to the Market Engagement Questionnaire, potential bidders can position themselves favourably for future formal tender processes related to the Strule Shared Educational Campus development.
