## Summary

The Skills Development Scotland Co. Limited is seeking to deliver the "Women Returners" programme, targeting individuals in the education and training services sector. This procurement process is at the Award stage, following an Open procedure, with an estimated contract value of up to £1.5 million for the first year, extending through March 2022, and an optional further extension available until March 2023. Key activities are focused in the UK, specifically Scotland, and the tender documents indicate a deadline for submissions that was set for August 20, 2021.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in employment support services aimed at women, particularly those with experience in employability interventions for disadvantaged groups. Enterprises with expertise in easing the transition for women returning to the workforce after career breaks, such as training providers and organisations supporting underrepresented demographics (older, disabled, or minority ethnic women), would be well-suited to compete for this contract. Given the contract's emphasis on meeting social needs, businesses that align with these objectives may find a valuable avenue for growth.
