## Summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is currently undertaking a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) for the Provision of Primary Medical Services, which includes various geographical lots across Glasgow City, Inverclyde, Renfrewshire, East Renfrewshire, East Dunbartonshire, and West Dunbartonshire. The procurement method follows a selective process, and applications can be made for multiple lots. The DPS aims to streamline future contracting opportunities and enhance efficiency. The current tender stage is active, with submissions closing on 6 September 2021.

This procurement process provides significant opportunities for healthcare providers, particularly general practitioners and organisations focused on delivering patient-centred clinical services. Businesses with proven experience in medical practice, capable of adhering to high-quality standards, will benefit from applying. Attendance to community health practices and demonstrable expertise in primary care will be crucial for success in this tender, opening doors for providers seeking to expand their footprint in the healthcare sector within these regions.

### Lot Information

Inverclyde

The requirement for a new GP contractor may arise as a result of the departure of the previous GP contractor providing primary medical services. The development of the DPS is to allow the appropriate process to be put in place to secure a new provider where required in a timely and efficient manner. If NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde wishes to select a new service provider for a practice, the provider must have the capacity and capability to meet the needs of the patients by delivering high quality, patient-centred clinical services in a primary care setting. It is expected that future providers will build on existing best practice, and focus on a community and health and social care approach. The clinical services will be delivered in an environment that provides patient care of a standard consistent with that of similar services provided elsewhere within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde.

Renewal: The contract term is of an indefinite nature
