## Summary

Westminster City Council is planning the recommissioning of Residential & Funded Nursing Care Services at Beachcroft Care Home, classified under community health services. The authority aims to host a virtual market engagement event on 11 August 2021 to gather feedback and discuss the service model with interested providers. Providers must register their interest via the e-tendering portal by 17:00 on 6 August 2021. This initiative follows an open tender earlier in the year where no contract was awarded, indicating an opportunity for service providers to actively participate in shaping future service delivery.

This tender presents significant opportunities for businesses specialising in residential and dementia care services, particularly those experienced in supporting vulnerable adults. The virtual market engagement event is an ideal platform for businesses to showcase their capabilities and gain insights into Westminster's vision for personalised, outcome-based services. By attending, providers can gather valuable information about market trends and expectations, which can help them refine their service offerings to better meet the needs of the council and the community.

## Notice

Westminster City Council (the "Authority") will be embarking on the recommissioning of a Residential & Funded Nursing Care Service within Beachcroft Care Home. This follows an open tender exercise earlier this year where the Authority did not award a contract. Prior to retendering these services the Authority will host a virtual market engagement event providing an opportunity to discuss and seek feedback from interested service providers on the service model and how these services can be delivered in the future.

### Lot Information

Lot 1

Westminster City Council (the Authority) requires service providers of residential and dementia care to support vulnerable adults who have been assessed as having eligible need that could be effectively supported in a care home setting and have a legal right to live in a care home of their choice under the Care and Support (Choice of Accommodation) Regulations 2014 No 2670 and any subsequent amendments. Service providers with experience of delivering these types of services are invited to attend a market engagement event on the morning of Wednesday 11 August 2021. The aim of the market engagement event is to: * Share information about demographic activity and care home trends in Westminster * Introduce our flagship purpose-built 84 bed care home * Share the Authority's vision of personalised outcome-based services * Share details of the forthcoming market opportunity * Discuss lessons learnt from the previous market opportunity * Explore market experience and appetite * Allow questions and feedback from the market Following the market engagement event, interested providers will be invited to attend individual virtual Q&A sessions on the morning of either Tuesday 17 August, Wednesday 18 August, or Thursday 19 August 2021. Each session will be for a maximum of 1 hour with each interested provider. To register your expression of interest kindly visit our e-tendering portal; www.capitalesourcing.com and search for the following reference: pqq_WCC_1666 -- Residential & Funded Nursing Care Services by 17:00 on 6 August 2021.
