## Summary

The London Borough of Camden has initiated a public procurement process titled "Minding the Gap," aimed at enhancing mental health services for young people aged 16-24. This procurement, classified under the industry category of social work services without accommodation, is currently in the Award stage, with contracts for two distinct Lots: The Hive Hub and the counselling & psychotherapy service. The total value of the procurement process is £8,262,000 with specific lot values of £4,950,000 and £3,312,000, respectively. Key dates include a procurement method that follows a selective approach with competitive negotiations, and the tender period was active as of 23 September 2021.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities particularly for businesses specialising in mental health services, youth support, counselling, and holistic therapy. Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that focus on social work and youth services will find this procurement particularly relevant, given the emphasis on quality and social value in the award criteria. Firms capable of delivering integrated support models and demonstrating a clear impact on service outcomes could be well-positioned to compete effectively in this market.
