## Summary

The Home Office is planning a procurement process titled "Contingency Asylum Accommodation" focused on providing accommodation services for asylum seekers across the UK. This initiative is currently in the planning stage, with the primary procurement method being a call-off agreement under the CCS Framework RM6016. Interested organisations are encouraged to register their interest by 31st July 2021, with opportunities primarily sought in major cities such as London, Birmingham, Glasgow, and others listed as potential accommodation sites. The communication for future notices is scheduled for 1st August 2021.

This tender presents a significant growth opportunity for businesses in the hospitality sector, particularly those offering hotel, accommodation, catering, and event services. Companies with available accommodations, whether short or long term, and those providing catering and laundry solutions would be particularly well-suited to participate. By registering with the Crown Commercial Service, businesses can position themselves to receive notifications of available contracts, helping them to expand their service offerings in response to government needs.
