## Summary

The Buckinghamshire Council has initiated a tender process for the "Buckinghamshire Missing Children and Independent Return Home Interview Service," which focuses on safeguarding children and young people aged 10 to 18 who go missing from home or care. This statutory service falls under the health and social work services category, and is being procured through an open procedure. The process is set to formally commence with a contract start date on 1st April 2022, spanning three years with potential extensions. The total budget for the contract is capped at £290,000 annually. The recent deadline for tender submissions was extended to midday on 24th September 2021.

This tender offers significant opportunities for organisations specialising in social work, child protection, and counselling services, especially those experienced in trauma-informed care.
