The County Council will commission Community Pharmacy Public Health services in Surrey to deliver the following services: Sexual Health * Emergency Hormonal Contraception (morning-after pill) * Chlamydia screening and treatment Drug Misuse services * Needle Exchange * Supervised Consumption * Take Home Naloxone Other * Health Checks in Pharmacy * BP+ It is anticipated that the tender will start in late summer 2021 with the contract starting in Spring 2022. The duration of the contract will be 5 years with option to extend for a further period(s) of up to 2 years. It is a fully electronic system, used to award compliant contracts. It operates with the joint benefits of a framework agreement, in which suppliers confirm at the time of application that they will comply with the terms of the DPS and any call-off contract terms published, as well as an approved supplier list. The arrangement allows any supplier who meets the minimum criteria to apply at any point during the duration of the DPS to join. The call-off procedure and arrangements would be made available when this tender goes live.
