Lot 1

This tender will grant a concession contract to the successful Concessionaire to supply official labels for use in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. The Concessionaire will be responsible for the provision of official seed labels to Licensed Seed Companies. These labels will be used by the companies on varying sizes of bags, ranging from 25kg to 1 tonne tote bags of certified seed in England, Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales. The Concessionaire will need to supply tear-resistant labels for sewing on to fabric/tote seed bags, and self-adhesive (glassine) labels for sticking on to non-fabric bags. There are approximately 20 specified formats of labels which mainly vary by colour, but some have specific size requirements as well.
