Medicines Discovery Catapult Ltd. (MDC) are a national facility for collaborative R&D exploring and developing new approaches to the discovery and proof of well targeted medicines, diagnostics and biomarkers. Funded by Innovate UK, an agency of the UK government, MDC are an independent not-for-profit company bringing together a fragmented UK sector of industry, academia, charities, technologists, services, finance companies, SMEs and start-ups who together can turn good science into new, high value products. This Invitation to Tender (ITT) has been issued by the MDC for The Service and Maintenance of Mass Spectrometry Equipment to the MDC at their premises at Alderley Park in Cheshire. This ITT is in accordance with the Public Contracts Regulations 2015. The Contract Notice has been advertised in the UK governments Find a Tender Services and Contracts Finder . Lot 1

Medicines Discovery Catapult Ltd. (MDC) Mass Spectrometry (MS) group requires a three-year contract, with the option to extend for a further two (2), one (1) year periods maintenance agreement and service contract for mass spectrometers, including associated ionisation devices, chromatographic peripherals, PCs and software, located in Alderley Park, Cheshire. All equipment (mass spectrometers, including associated ionisation devices, chromatographic peripherals, PCs and software) is less than five years old (individual dates as per Equipment List Appendix 4) and has been fully serviced by the manufacturer to date. The contract will include a fully comprehensive cover inclusive of original parts, labour, remote assistance, on-site engineer support when required, and one annual preventative maintenance visit per instrument.
