## Summary

The Nottinghamshire County Council is spearheading the EM Lawshare Framework 2022-2026, aimed at establishing a multi-provider framework agreement for public sector bodies requiring legal services. This procurement process falls under the services industry category and has been designated an open tender procedure. The framework has been awarded, with an overall value of £70 million, following a contract signing date of 14 January 2022. The services will be delivered primarily across the UK, with a full operational period extending until 31 March 2026. As of August 2021, the consortium had already expanded to 220 members, significantly increasing its footprint in public service delivery.

The EM Lawshare Framework presents lucrative opportunities for businesses focusing on legal services, especially for law firms that cater to local authorities, NHS Trusts, and other public bodies. Companies well-suited to compete in this tender include both large firms and small to medium enterprises (SMEs) that offer specialisations in legal consulting, recruitment, and related support services. With substantial historical spending recorded, firms entering this competitive landscape can aim to grow their business by aligning with the diverse needs of governmental and public sector clients.
