## Summary

The Sheffield City Council is inviting tenders for the "Family Support and Accommodation Service," aimed at providing two accommodation-based services for families in Sheffield. This procurement falls under the health and social work services sector and is currently in the Tender stage, with a submission deadline set for 27th August 2021. The contracts will span five years with a break clause at the end of years two and four, allowing for performance evaluations. Interested providers are encouraged to submit proposals for either Lot 1, which includes 19 self-contained accommodation units, or Lot 2, comprising 38 units, both of which require on-site support and are expected to be located in proximity to public transport.

This tender presents significant growth opportunities for businesses specialising in social services and accommodation solutions, especially those with experience in supporting homeless and vulnerable families. Companies that understand child safeguarding processes and possess the capability to deliver holistic support services will be particularly well-suited to compete for these contracts. The two distinct lots allow for providers to demonstrate their expertise in different accommodation settings while contributing positively to the community's social infrastructure.
